The draw ceremony for the 2025-2026 season of the Azerbaijan First League in football has been held.
Idman.biz reports that, according to the results of the draw, the teams that will face each other in the first round have been determined.
5 matches will be held in the first round:

"Shafa" - "Shimal"
MOIK - "Shahdag Gusar"
"Baku Sporting" - "Difai"
"Sabail" - "Mingachevir"
Note that the championship will start on September 11. The tournament will be held with the participation of 10 teams in a 3-round system.
