The 1/8 final stage of the Azerbaijan Cup starts today. Sport24.az reports that two matches will take place on the first match day.
"Shahdag Qusar", competing in the First League, will test "Turan Tovuz". Since the stadium of the Shamakhi Olympic Sports Complex, where the Qusar club holds its home games, is not suitable for hosting the 1/8 final stage matches of the cup, this meeting will take place at the "SOCAR Polymer Arena" in Sumgayit.
The second match of the day will take place in Zira. In the central match of this stage, the representative of the village with the same name hosts "Neftchi".
It should be noted that the 1/8 final stage consists of one game. In this stage, the VAR system will be applied only in matches where participants of the Misli Premier League play with each other.
