"Quba" club, one of the rooted regional representatives of Azerbaijani football, is facing a serious financial crisis. The club's management and players are worried that they will not be able to participate in the "Araz Saatlı" match scheduled for tomorrow.
Idman.Biz reports that the appeal published on the club's official social media accounts stated that the situation is critical. The statement notes that the team is currently unable to cover travel expenses and is struggling to meet the basic needs of the players.
The club's sincere appeal states:
"It is very difficult for us to write this status. We were supposed to play with "Araz Saatlı" tomorrow, but this is seriously in question. The reason is clear to everyone... We cannot cover travel expenses. The boys played selflessly for months without expecting anything, just for the sake of Quba football. Everyone wants to fight, but sometimes wanting is not enough."
The club management called on the residents of Quba, football fans, and businessmen to support the team in these difficult times:
"Whoever can... even a very small amount is a great support for us. This team belongs to all of us. If we don't support it today, it may be too late tomorrow. We want to play tomorrow, we want this team to live."
