"Antalyaspor" is unable to sign a contract with Russian defender Georgiy Cikiya due to FIFA's transfer ban. Sport24.az reports that TASS has released information about this.
An unnamed representative of the club stated that the football player is currently in Antalya:
"Cikiya is currently in Antalya. But signing a contract is not yet possible. The highest football authority has imposed a transfer ban on the club. Therefore, it is not yet possible to sign an agreement with either Cikiya or anyone else."
It should be noted that the 31-year-old defender played for "Khimki" last season as a free agent after leaving "Spartak".
