FIFA has announced several media innovations for the upcoming World Cup. Sport24.az reports that the next tournament will be the first World Cup where coaches and players will give live interviews at halftime.
According to the new requirements, all teams must provide a representative (head coach or player) to the broadcaster for a short halftime interview. This decision aims to attract more viewers and react immediately to the events of the first half.
Another change concerns press conferences. Teams will hold briefings two days before the game, not one day before as usual. Experts believe this is designed to cater to the European television audience.
