FIFA President Gianni Infantino has rejected the idea of suspending Israeli teams from international competitions.
"Considering that the ultimate legal status of the West Bank, in the context of the interpretation of the relevant provisions of the FIFA Regulations, remains an unresolved and extremely complex issue in the framework of international public law, no action should be taken," Infantino said.
It was previously reported about calls to ban the Israeli national team due to the situation in the Gaza Strip.
Since the end of February 2022, all Russian teams, including national teams, have been suspended from international competitions due to the war in Ukraine.
