According to the source, FIFA has started selling tickets for the semi-final and final matches of the World Cup. The prices of tickets are approximately $11.30 and $17.50, respectively. This confirms that the play-off games in Guadalajara will take place as planned.
The qualifying matches will be held on March 26 and 31 at World Cup stadiums near Guadalajara and Monterrey. These matches will determine two teams that will participate in the 2026 World Cup. In one match, Jamaica will face New Caledonia, with the winner playing the Democratic Republic of Congo five days later. In another match, Bolivia will face Suriname, with the winner meeting Iraq.
It is worth recalling that on Tuesday, February 24, Nemesio Oseguera, the leader of one of the country's largest drug cartels, "Jalisco New Generation" (CJNG), known as "El Mencho", was killed during an operation by the Mexican Armed Forces. After that, riots began in several cities in Mexico.
The 2026 World Cup is scheduled to be held from June 11 to July 19 in three countries - USA, Mexico and Canada. In Mexico, the games will be held in Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara.
