FIFA referee badges and certificates for 2026 were presented at the AFFA administrative building. Sport24.az reports that the event was attended by AFFA Secretary General Jahangir Farajullayev, Deputy Secretary General Elchin Mammadov, Chairman of the AFFA Referees Committee Rahim Hasanov, and Head of the AFFA Referees Department Bahruz Teymurov.
Jahangir Farajullayev, who presented the certificates and badges to the referees, congratulated them on this occasion. He said he believed that Azerbaijani referees would adequately represent the country in the international arena and wished them success in their future activities.
Then, Bahruz Teymurov made a presentation on the new bonus program for referees. He provided detailed information about the implementation mechanism of the program approved by the AFFA Executive Committee.
It was noted that the bonus program is based on two main principles - sustainability and collective responsibility. The new system will serve to increase professionalism in the activities of referees, stimulate performance and achieve more successful results.
