A FIFA representative has responded to US President Donald Trump's statement regarding the possibility of moving 2026 World Cup games from Boston to another city. Sport24.az reports that "Sky News" has reported on this:
"We hope that each of the 16 host cities will be ready to successfully host the tournament and meet all the necessary requirements. Security is a key priority for FIFA events around the world.
It is clear that the country hosting the tournament is responsible for security. They are the ones who decide what is best for public safety."
It should be noted that Trump had previously told Boston Mayor Michelle Wu that he could move the games to another city due to the riots in the city.
