Under Infantino's leadership, FIFA is achieving record revenues.
Over the past 10 years, the salary of FIFA President Gianni Infantino has quadrupled amid record revenues for the organization. He earned $6.1 million based on the results of 2024.
According to Lent.az, the newspaper "Le Monde" calculated Infantino's net worth based on US tax documents. The publication emphasized that after being elected FIFA president in February 2016, Infantino's income increased at an impressive rate.
Declarations submitted to the US authorities on November 12, 2025, show that FIFA paid Infantino $6.133 million in 2024. This amount included approximately $3 million in base salary, approximately $2 million in bonuses, $1.1 million in other awards, and $155,000 in pension payments.
"Le Monde" reported that when Infantino replaced Sepp Blatter as FIFA president 10 years ago, the organization paid him only $1.5 million.
Continuing to calculate Infantino's earnings, the publication noted that after the 2018 World Cup, the FIFA president received a $1 million bonus, and after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, he received a $2 million bonus.
According to the publication's calculations, according to tax returns submitted to the US authorities, Infantino cost FIFA $3.6 million in 2022 and $4.1 million in 2023.
However, "Le Monde" notes that under Infantino's leadership, FIFA is also achieving record revenue. The organization forecasts revenue of $11 billion for 2023-2027, including this year's World Cup.
Journalists noted that if Infantino is re-elected for a third and final term in 2027, he could remain at the head of the Federation for another five years.
