FIFA President Gianni Infantino has sent condolences on the death of Portuguese national team and Liverpool player Diogo Jota.

Infantino, on behalf of the football world, expressed his regret over the tragic death of Jota and his brother Andre Silva: "I am deeply saddened by the tragic death of Diego Jota and his brother in a car accident. I offer my deepest condolences to the players' families, Liverpool, Penafiel, and the Portuguese Football Federation. Their death will be a serious loss for the football world."
It should be noted that the car driven by Jota burned down in an accident at night, and both football players died.
