Former UFC lightweight world champion Khabib Nurmagomedov has announced that he has won two VIP tickets to a match at the World Cup to be held next year. Sport24.az reports that he shared about it on his social network account.
The World Sports Summit is being held in Dubai yesterday and today. Many sports stars, including Khabib, are participating in the event. While the former fighter was sitting in the front row of the Madinat Jumeirah complex, FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who was on the stage, offered legendary Brazilian striker Ronaldo, who was with him, to nominate him for two tickets to the 2026 World Cup.
This honor went to Nurmagomedov, who actively supported Ronaldo and wanted him to mention his name, even jokingly threatening the Brazilian. "Khabib is already beating me," the former football player joked. The FIFA president agreed with the Brazilian star, saying, "this is the safest choice."
After going on stage, Khabib asked Infantino "whether this VIP ticket is counted." Then he said, "I have already bought regular tickets. Please give me VIP tickets." The FIFA president promised the Dagestani that he would fulfill his request.
