According to the source, the supreme football body will support the South American Football Confederation's (CONMEBOL) proposal to increase the number of participants in the World Cup. In this case, the tournament will be held in 16 groups of four teams each. The top two nations will advance to the play-offs.
It is reported that the games will be held in Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay. Three group matches of the World Cup will be held in South American countries, and the remaining matches will be held in Europe and Africa.
