Germany's "Bayern" and Brazil's "Flamengo" clubs have become the first participants in the "play-off" stage of the FIFA Club World Cup.
According to "Report", on Saturday night "Bayern" defeated Argentina's "Boca Juniors" in the second round of the group stage (2:1).
After two rounds, "Bayern" leads Group C with 6 points. They are followed by Portugal's Benfica (4), Boca Juniors (1) and New Zealand's Auckland City (0).
In the next stage, "Bayern" will face "Benfica", "Boca Juniors" - "Auckland City". The matches will be held on June 24.
In another match of the game day, Tunisian "Esperance" defeated American "Los Angeles" (1:0). This result secured "Flamengo" (6 points in two matches) a place in the play-offs, because Esperance and England's "Chelsea", with 3 points each, will face each other in the last round of the group stage. The game will take place on June 25.
In a parallel match, Los Angeles will face Flamengo.
The Club World Championship is being held in the USA. For the first time, 32 teams divided into eight groups are participating here. The two best teams in each quartet will advance to the 1/8 finals. The final match will take place on July 13.
