The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) has made a harsh decision regarding Tufan Sadigov, the former investor of the Russian football club Khimki.
Idman.Biz reports that journalist Ivan Karpov announced this on his Telegram channel.
According to the source, based on a request from the Russian Football Federation, Sadigov has been banned for life from engaging in football activities worldwide.
It should be noted that Tufan Sadigov was an investor in the Khimki club. On September 9, 2025, the Moscow Region Arbitration Court declared the club bankrupt. The club's debt amounted to 448 million rubles (approximately 9 million 363 thousand manats).
It is worth remembering that "Khimki" lost its professional status due to financial problems and was excluded from the Russian Premier League after the 2024/2025 season.
