Over a million tickets have been sold for the matches of the FIFA World Cup to be held in the USA, Canada, and Mexico in 2026. Fans from 212 countries and territories will participate in the tournament.
Idman.Biz reports that the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) announced this on its X social media account.
The World Cup will be held in North America from June 11 to July 19. 48 national teams, divided into 12 groups of four teams each, will participate in the competition. The top two teams, along with the eight best third-placed teams, will advance to the playoff stage. In addition, a new stage - the round of 32 - will be added to the 2026 World Cup.
