"We defended well in the first half. We wanted to play defensively and rely on counter-attacks. But at the end of the first half, we conceded a goal after a corner kick. During the break, I told the kids to stay calm. Unfortunately, after the second goal, the team completely collapsed," Santos said.
Regarding a possible resignation, the Portuguese expressed himself as follows: "My contract with the Azerbaijani national team is still valid. If AFFA wants to send me to resignation, we can discuss this issue," Santos said.
