According to "Report", the head coach of the Azerbaijani national team, Fernando Santos, said this at a press conference after the friendly match against the Hungarian national team.
The 70-year-old expert stated that they played against a difficult opponent:
"We didn't start the game well. As a result, we conceded an early goal. Although we immediately scored an equalizing goal, the opponent managed to score again. The second half was more difficult for us. We were losing the ball more often. We were very confident that we would score the equalizing goal. Unfortunately, some of our players felt tired. Overall, I am satisfied with the last two friendly matches."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan-Hungary match, which took place at the "Liv Bona Dea Arena", ended with a 2:1 victory for the guests.
