A farewell ceremony was held for Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva, who died in a car accident.
Idman.biz reports that the ceremony was also attended by the Portuguese head coach of the Azerbaijani national team, Fernandu Santos.
Among the participants of the event held in Gondomar were the President of Portugal Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, the President of the Portuguese Football Federation Pedro Proença, the President of "Porto" Andre Villas-Boas, and Jota's manager Jorge Mendes.
Teammates Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara from "Liverpool", and footballers from the Portuguese national team such as Bernardo Silva, Ruben Neves, Diogo Dalot, Andre Silva and Jose Fonte said goodbye to Diogo for the last time at the ceremony.
It should be noted that Jota and his brother will be buried tomorrow in the cemetery in Gondomar, where they grew up.
