A few years ago, legendary Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson had a long conversation with his former player, now expert, Gary Neville.
According to Lent.az, citing foreign media, the answers to two questions have gone viral again on the internet.
Neville: "Which players you coached do you think were underrated?"
Ferguson: "There were three, I can't separate them: Brian McClair, Park Ji-sung and Ronnie Johnsen."
In addition, Sir Alex recalled a moment from his career that he considers a big mistake. This happened at Wembley in the Champions League final against Barcelona.
Ferguson: "I should have made some changes at half-time, I should have told Park Ji-sung to go after Messi. That was a mistake. I realized that after 10 minutes. I wanted to do it and then I thought: 'We equalized before half-time, they might change something and we can do better'."
"But if I had played Park Ji-sung against Messi, I think we would have beaten them. Then Lionel scored a fantastic goal from distance. He (Park Ji-sung) was a great player. The only player who could handle Messi was Park Ji-sung."
