Ferencváros goalscorer Barnabás Varga shared his thoughts on the 1:3 defeat to Qarabag in the UEFA Champions League play-off round and the return match.
Idman.biz reports that the 30-year-old Hungarian footballer said that they were disappointed, but they were not thinking of giving up.
Varga said in a statement to RTL: "I don't know what to say right now, the defeat by two goals disappointed us, but we will not give up. We have to play better in the second match. I don't think we were better than the opponent in the first half either, we have to make changes and show in the return match that we deserve to play in the main stage of the Champions League. I don't think they surprised us, they were just very confident in midfield, but we have to analyze what happened. There is another game ahead and we will try to fix everything. A two-goal difference is not the end of the world".
