Turkey's Fenerbahçe team has issued a statement regarding controversial referee decisions.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to the club's official website that the statement expresses dissatisfaction with the decisions made against the team in recent rounds.
It was stated that although the club preferred to stay out of discussions about refereeing from the start of the season and focus only on the game on the field, mistakes have increased in recent matches and have already become systematic: "This harms the principle of fairness in football. Wrong decisions overshadow our work. But our silence does not mean that we agree with injustices."
It was noted that the position of staying away from provocations and polemics aims to create a more fair and transparent environment for both the club and the future of Turkish football.
Fenerbahçe also announced that it expects concrete steps from the Turkish Football Federation and the Central Referees Committee to conduct the process more fairly and transparently.
