"Fenerbahce" is planning to strengthen its defense line for the new season. Sport24.az reports that the main target of the Istanbul giant is Diogo Leite, who plays for "Union Berlin".

The Portuguese footballer's contract with the German club expires at the end of the season. "Fenerbahce" has already started negotiations with the 27-year-old central defender, who will be a free agent in the summer, and has offered him a 3+1 year contract.
It should be noted that "Union Berlin" transferred Diogo Leite from "Porto" for 7 million euros in the summer of 2023. The experienced defender has scored 1 goal in 18 official matches for the Bundesliga representative this season.
