"Fenerbahce" President Sadettin Saran has been detained as part of a drug investigation conducted by the Istanbul Prosecutor's Office.
Idman.Biz reports that a test conducted at the Forensic Medicine Institute revealed that Saran had used drugs.
The Prosecutor's Office stated that additional evidence has emerged regarding the acquisition, promotion, and use of narcotics. For this reason, Saran was detained by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command.
Sadettin Saran was elected president of "Fenerbahce" in September of this year.
