Istanbul's "Fenerbahçe" club is about to finalize the transfer of Alexander Sørloth, which has been on its agenda for a long time to strengthen the attack line.
İdman.Biz reports with reference to the Turkish press that the Istanbul representative has reached an agreement with the Norwegian striker on the terms of a 3.5-year contract.
According to the agreement, A. Sørloth will receive a salary of 12.5 million euros per season from the Istanbul giant.
Currently, the main focus is on negotiations with Madrid's "Atletico", which owns the transfer rights of the football player. The Spanish club demands 35 million euros for the football player.
"Fenerbahçe" management is trying to reduce this amount to the range of 25–30 million euros.
If an agreement is reached between the parties, Sørloth is expected to sign an official contract in the near future.
It should be noted that "Fenerbahçe", which is in the second place in the Super League with 42 points, will start the second half of the season with an away game against "Alanyaspor" on January 18.
