"Fenerbahce" has released a statement on social media after the failure of the transfers of N'Golo Kanté and Youssef En-Nesyri. The Turkish club had previously reached an agreement with "Al-Ittihad", and Kanté was expected to join "Fenerbahce" in exchange for En-Nesyri. However, the deal fell through due to documentation issues. FIFA rejected appeals from both parties.
"The transfer process regarding N'Golo Kanté, Youssef En-Nesyri, and "Al-Ittihad" was carefully carried out by our club in accordance with all rules and plans.
Agreements were reached with the players in accordance with the requirements of our coaching staff, medical examinations were completed, and the necessary permits were obtained. Our club fulfilled all its obligations within the specified deadlines. The transfer registration documents were uploaded correctly and completely to the system within the allotted time.
However, due to incorrect information entered into the TMS by the other club, the process could not be completed in the registration window, independently of our club. Therefore, we requested a postponement, held the necessary negotiations with FIFA, and took all steps to resolve the situation.
Nevertheless, the other club failed to complete the process in a timely manner and provided no explanation. As a result of these events, unfortunately, the transfer did not materialize.
We understand and share the disappointment this has caused in our community. Our club continues to rebuild its team with the same determination and discipline in line with its sporting goals," Fenerbahce said in a statement.

"Fenerbahce's" plans regarding N'Golo Kanté have officially failed. The club has released an official statement on the matter.
Idman.Biz reports that the agreed player exchange between "Fenerbahce" and Saudi Arabia's "Al-Ittihad" club fell through at the last moment. According to the agreement, N'Golo Kanté was supposed to move to the Turkish club, and Youssef En-Nesyri was supposed to move in the opposite direction.
According to the information, the parties agreed on all terms, the documents were prepared, the players said goodbye to the clubs, and they also underwent medical examinations. However, due to the incorrect entry of data into the transfer system by "Al-Ittihad", the agreement was not registered in time.
"Fenerbahce" in its official statement directly blamed "Al-Ittihad". It was stated that although the Turkish club asked FIFA to extend the registration period, the Saudi side did not react to the process without giving any explanation, and the issue remained inconclusive.
Thus, N'Golo Kante's return to Europe did not take place. Currently, there is no exact decision as to whether this transfer has been completely canceled or postponed to a later date.
