Zinedine Zidane, former player of the French national team, "Real" (Spain) and "Juventus" (Italy), has a new job.
"Report", citing "Le Parisien", reports that the 53-year-old specialist has reached a verbal agreement to lead the French national team.
Zidane is expected to replace head coach Didier Deschamps after the 2026 World Cup.
The president of the French Football Federation (FFF), Philippe Diallo, confirmed in an interview with Le Figaro that the name of the new head coach is already known and an official announcement will be made soon.
Note that Zidane has been unemployed since leaving Real Madrid in 2021, and his name has long been associated with the English club Manchester United.
