Eddie Hearn, promoter of former IBF, WBA, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, has announced when his protégé may return to the ring.
İdman.Biz reports that the 36-year-old Joshua has been competing professionally since 2013.
"He's had a really good time the last few days. Anthony's already in camp, but no return date has been set yet. I think July is a reasonable time to target. Training camp is his favorite place. It shouldn't be. When you look at how hard they work in there, it shouldn't be anyone's favorite place, but that's how fighters are. I think Joshua is really happy to be back in that regime, and we'll start planning his next fight soon," Hearn told Boxingnews24.
Joshua's record includes 29 wins and four losses. He is the 2012 Olympic champion and a Commander of the Order of the British Empire for services to boxing.
