"Fenerbahce" released a statement on social media after the failure of the transfers of N'Golo Kanté and Youssef En-Nesyri. The Turkish club had previously reached an agreement with "Al-Ittihad" and Kanté was expected to join "Fenerbahce" in exchange for En-Nesyri. However, the deal was not completed due to documentation problems. FIFA has rejected appeals from both sides.
"The transfer process regarding N'Golo Kanté, Youssef En-Nesyri, and "Al-Ittihad" was carefully carried out by our club in accordance with all rules and plans.
Agreements were reached with the players in accordance with the demands of our coaching staff, medical examinations were completed, and the necessary permits were obtained. Our club fulfilled all its obligations within the specified periods. The transfer registration documents were uploaded to the system correctly and completely within the allocated time.
However, due to incorrect information entered into TMS by the other club, the process could not be completed in the registration window, independently of our club. Therefore, we requested a postponement, held the necessary negotiations with FIFA, and took all steps to resolve the situation.
Nevertheless, the other club failed to complete the process in a timely manner and provided no explanation. As a result of these events, the transfer unfortunately did not take place.
We understand and share the disappointment this has caused in our community. Our club continues to rebuild its team with the same determination and discipline in line with its sporting goals," said "Fenerbahce" in a statement.

"Fenerbahce"'s plans regarding N'Golo Kante have officially failed. The club has issued an official statement on the matter.
İdman.Biz reports that the agreed player exchange between "Fenerbahce" and Saudi Arabia's "Al-Ittihad" club was disrupted at the last moment. According to the agreement, N'Golo Kante was to move to the Turkish club, and Youssef En-Nesyri was to move in the opposite direction.
According to reports, the parties agreed on all terms, documents were prepared, players said goodbye to their clubs and passed medical examinations. However, the agreement was not registered on time due to "Al-Ittihad" entering incorrect data into the transfer system.
"Fenerbahce" in its official statement directly blamed "Al-Ittihad". It was stated that although the Turkish club requested FIFA to extend the registration period, the Saudi side did not react to the process without giving any explanation and the matter remained inconclusive.
Thus, N'Golo Kante's return to Europe did not materialize. There is currently no clear decision on whether this transfer has been completely canceled or postponed to a later date.
