"Inter" defender Federico Dimarco is close to signing a new contract that will last until 2030.
Idman.Biz reports that journalist and insider Nicolo Schira announced this on social media.
Several English Premier League clubs were previously interested in the player, but negotiations did not result in concrete offers. Currently, "Inter" and Dimarco prefer to continue their partnership.
The 28-year-old left-back is a graduate of Inter's academy. After loan spells at Sion, Parma, Verona and Ascoli, he returned to the team and established himself as a key player for the Nerazzurri. This season, Dimarco has made 31 appearances, scoring six goals and providing 13 assists. His current contract with the Milan club runs until 2027. Transfermarkt values the defender at 50 million euros.
