Of course, this is very pleasant for me, especially considering that this is my first goal in the Premier League. I was born in Gabala myself and I am a graduate of our club. I have been playing here since 2010, starting with children's teams," said Farid Iskandarov.
F.Iskandarov commented on the last seconds of the game as follows.
"The match was already coming to an end when our striker Paulo Qumilo saw me joining the attack and gave me a great pass. I received the ball well with one touch and scored a goal. The most interesting thing is that I felt that I would score a goal just before this game. I even imagined from which position I would strike. I have never had such a thing before. I felt that I would score a goal. I think this will not be my first, but not my last goal in the team of my native club," the midfielder of "Gabala" concluded.
