"A difficult match awaits "Qarabagh" away." These words were said to Sport24.az by the former goalkeeper of the Azerbaijani national team, Farhad Veliyev.
The 45-year-old veteran goalkeeper spoke about the "Liverpool" - "Qarabagh" match to be held in the UEFA Champions League:
"The victory in the match against "Eintracht" was not a surprise. Even before the game, I thought that our representative could beat the German club. We witnessed once again that "Qarabagh" can beat strong teams both away and at home."
The former goalkeeper of "Qarabagh" said that "Liverpool" is one of the giant clubs in the world:
"The opponent wants to win and strengthen its place in the top 8. No matter how difficult it is, let's hope that "Qarabagh" will return from England with at least a point."
It should be noted that the "Liverpool" - "Qarabagh" match will be held on January 28.
