"Hajduk" footballer Ivan Rakitic has ended his professional career. Sport24.az reports that the 37-year-old midfielder played his last home game for the Split team in the Croatian championship's 35th round match against "Rijeka" (2:1).
The Croatian player will play his last career game against "Šibenik" this weekend.
The former member of the Croatian national team will end his professional career after that.
It should be noted that Ivan Rakitic is a graduate of "Basel". The experienced footballer has played for "Schalke", "Sevilla", "Barcelona" and "Al-Shabab" during his career.
