Insider Fabrizio Romano commented on rumors about negotiations between Real Madrid and former Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp.
Idman.Biz reports that the German manager was previously reported to be one of the candidates for the position of head coach of the Spanish club.
"Nothing is happening. Real Madrid have not contacted Jurgen Klopp at the moment. There are no negotiations, no calls, no contacts, nothing. The current situation is that Real Madrid are considering several candidates for the head coach position. They really appreciate Jurgen Klopp, but they won't approach him and try to change his mind.
If Jurgen Klopp wants to return to coaching, Real Madrid may consider him depending on what happens with Arbeloa at the end of the season. Alvaro Arbeloa is currently in the team and has a chance to become Real Madrid coach for the next season.
But ultimately, if Real decide to change coaches, Klopp could be a candidate in the summer. So Real are waiting to see what Klopp wants. This is the club's position, its strategy. Therefore, no negotiations are underway yet. Klopp is simply valued within the club, but that's all for now," Romano said in his speech on his YouTube channel.
