Former Serie A coach Fabio Capello commented on Bayern Munich's victory over Atalanta in the 1/8 finals of the Champions League.
Idman.Biz reports that the match ended with a score of 6:1.
"I saw a team pressing and running, and all the players showed good qualities in terms of vision and ball control. Every time Bayern won the ball, they went forward and got into the gaps. With this technique, they were clearly creating problems for Atalanta.
Atalanta were lucky to only concede six goals. They could have conceded more; the goalkeeper made some good saves. This is a lesson for Italian football. Atalanta are the only Italian team to reach the 1/8 finals, and they beat Borussia Dortmund, but they had no chance against the leader of the German league," Capello told Sky Sport.
