The list of the ten highest-paid football coaches leading national teams has been announced. Sport24.az reports that the Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport" has published information about this.
The list is headed by the head coach of the Brazilian national team, Carlo Ancelotti (9.5 million euros). Thomas Tuchel (England, 5.9 million euros) and Julian Nagelsmann (Germany, 4.9 million euros) are in the top three.
Another Italian takes fourth place in the ranking. Fabio Cannavaro, who took over the Uzbekistan national team two days ago, will receive 4 million euros per year. Roberto Martinez also receives the same salary in the Portuguese national team.
Didier Deschamps (France, 3.8 million euros), Marcelo Bielsa (Uruguay, 3.5 million euros), Ronald Koeman (Netherlands, 3 million euros), Gustavo Alfaro (Paraguay, 2.5 million euros), and Lionel Scaloni (Argentina, 2.3 million euros) are also in the "Top 10".
According to Italian media, the head coach of the Italian national team, Gennaro Gattuso, earns 800 thousand euros per year and will receive a bonus of 1 million euros if the team qualifies for the World Cup.
