Fabio breaks record for most games played in football history

Fluminense goalkeeper Fabio has become the player with the most games played in football. Sport24.az reports that the Brazilian club's official website has released information about this.

 

On August 20, the 44-year-old Brazilian made his record-breaking 1391st professional appearance in the Copa Sudamericana tournament game against America de Cali (2:0).

 

With this, he broke the record of former England goalkeeper Peter Shilton (1390), who has played the most official games in his career.
