The number of fans who will support Aghdam's "Qarabag" club in the third round of the Champions League group stage match against "Athletic" in Bilbao has been announced.
Idman.Biz, referring to "Onda Vasca", reports that guest sector number 321 has been allocated for Azerbaijani fans at the "San Mames" stadium. The capacity of this sector is 600 people.
At the same time, local authorities expect approximately 400 "Qarabag" fans to come to Bilbao to watch the game. It is reported that law enforcement agencies are operating in an enhanced mode in and around the stadium.
Local media also noted the respectful attitude of "Qarabag" head coach Gurban Gurbanov towards the opponent and his gratitude for the warm welcome.
Let us remind you that the match between "Athletic" and "Qarabag" clubs in the third round of the Champions League group stage will be held today in Bilbao and will start at 20:45 Baku time. The Aghdam representative is currently in 6th place in the tournament table with six points, while the Basques are in 34th place as they have not yet scored any points.
