"Everton" management plans to offer head coach David Moyes a new contract this summer. This was reported by The Guardian newspaper, according to Sport24.az.
Moyes returned to the club in January last year, signing a two-and-a-half-year contract. At that time, "Everton" was only one point away from the relegation zone. However, the Scottish specialist managed to improve the situation and the team is trying to qualify for European competitions. "Everton" is currently in eighth place, just three points behind the top five.
"Everton" owners, the "Friedkin Group", initially viewed Moyes as a short-term appointment. Now they believe that the 62-year-old specialist will take the club to a higher level and are therefore ready to extend his contract.
