Spanish national team footballer Nico Williams has started negotiations with his club, Athletic Bilbao, to extend his contract.
Report reports, citing foreign media, that the 22-year-old forward is expected to have a new salary of 10 million euros per year.
The buyout clause in the contract is also expected to increase. It is currently 58 million euros.
It should be noted that Nico Williams appeared in 45 matches for Athletic Bilbao in the completed season, scoring 11 goals and providing 7 assists. He became European champion with the Spanish national team in 2024.
