Lille midfielder Andre Gomes will continue his career in the MLS. The 32-year-old Portuguese midfielder has signed a contract with Columbus Crew, where Nariman Akhundzade will also play. Gomes' contract is valid until the summer of 2027, with the option to extend it for another 18 months. Sport24.az reports that the club's official website has released information about this.
It should be noted that the Portuguese midfielder previously defended the colors of Benfica, Valencia, Barcelona, Everton and the Portuguese national team. Gomes won the European Championship with Portugal in 2016. He also enjoyed championship success with Barcelona in the 2016/17 season. The midfielder has made only two appearances in the French league this season.
