The draw ceremony for the 1/8 final stage of the UEFA Europa League is being held.

Idman.Biz reports that, based on the results of the draw, the pairings for this stage will be determined.

It should be noted that, according to the tournament schedule, two former rivals of the "Qarabag" football club - the Hungarian club "Ferencváros" and the Portuguese team "Braga" - may face each other. Both teams have lost to the Aghdam club in European competitions in recent seasons.

"Ferencváros" lost their Champions League qualification for the current season (2025/26) and lost to Gurban Gurbanov's team with an overall score of 4:5 in a dramatic play-off stage. The top "8" of the League stage: "Lyon" (France), "Aston Villa" (England), "Midtjylland" (Denmark), "Betis" (Spain), "Porto", "Braga" (both Portugal), "Freiburg" (Germany), "Roma" (Italy).

Winners of the play-off stage: "Genk" (Belgium), "Bologna" (Italy), "Stuttgart" (Germany), "Ferencváros" (Hungary), "Nottingham Forest" (England), "Celta" (Spain), "Lille" (France), "Panathinaikos" (Greece).
