Eugen Polanski, the interim coach of Borussia Mönchengladbach, has been appointed as the team's head coach.

The 39-year-old Polish specialist has signed a contract until 2028.
Polanski began acting as interim head coach in September 2025, when Mönchengladbach sacked Gerardo Seoane. Under Polanski's leadership, Borussia Mönchengladbach has won three games, drawn two, and lost three in eight games.
After 10 games, Borussia Mönchengladbach is in 12th place in the German Bundesliga with nine points.
