"Esteghlal" has signed Spanish goalkeeper Antonio Adan. According to Sport24.az, the club's press service reported this. The 38-year-old Spaniard joined the Iranian club as a free agent. His contract is for 1 year.
Adan had been without a club since 2024, after leaving Sporting Lisbon. During his career, he wore the shirts of "Betis", "Cagliari", and Real Madrid, in addition to "Atletico", where he was a youth player.
It should be noted that the goalkeeper has played 432 matches in all tournaments during his career and conceded 511 goals. In 156 matches, he ensured the inviolability of his goal.
