Norwegian national team footballer Erling Haaland has set a record for the 21st century.
According to "Report", the 25-year-old striker achieved this by scoring five goals in the 2026 World Cup qualifying match against Moldova (11:1).
The forward, who scored a penta-trick, made history. Haaland is the first player in the current century to score five goals in one match in the World Cup qualifiers.
This is also the first penta-trick in such matches since 1977. At that time, Hans Krankl scored five goals against Malta.
