Manchester City striker Erling Haaland believes he should take on a leadership role in the team. Sport24.az reports that the Norwegian striker told Sky Sports about this:
"Many important players have left the team. New guys have joined the squad. Now those who have been playing here for several years, like me, should take more responsibility. I have to be a leader in the team and help the newcomers adapt to the team faster. Because it is not easy to come to a new country and play immediately. We have to help each other."
Note that Haaland has been playing for Manchester City since 2022. The 25-year-old Norwegian footballer has played 149 games, scored 127 goals and made 21 assists.
