"First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the club management for their trust. Ganja is my hometown. For those who breathe football, Ganja is first and foremost associated with "Kapaz"." Sport24.az reports that these thoughts belong to Erkin Ibrahimov, advisor on sports issues to the new chairman of the Board of "Kapaz". He shared on his "Facebook" social network account regarding his appointment:
"I believe that together we will cope with the assigned mission. By together I mean the city's football community, including the thousands of fans, and the veterans who have sweated for the success of "Kapaz".
Our official appointment to the club coincided with the day "Kapaz" remained in the Premier League. For known reasons, in recent years "Kapaz" has been struggling to stay in the top league. I am glad that thanks to the efforts of the club's employees, the coaching staff and the players, "Kapaz" will represent the second city of our country in the Premier League next season as well.
Football is a team game. All those represented in the new management team are people who are connected to Ganja and love football. Our main goal is to gradually return "Kapaz" to its former positions. Of course, this takes time. I hope that the "Kapaz" family will unite for a single purpose and support us in this mission."
