Former Argentina international Erik Lamela has retired from football.
According to "Report", the 33-year-old midfielder announced this on his social media account.
He stated that he has had a hip problem for 11 years.
It should be noted that Erik Lamela is a graduate of the River Plate club. During his career, he played for Roma in Italy, Tottenham in England, Sevilla in Spain, and AEK in Greece. The footballer scored 3 goals in 25 games for the Argentina national team.
