London's Chelsea club has sacked head coach Enzo Maresca.
Lent.az reports with reference to foreign media that this was reported on the club's website.
The team noted Chelsea's victory in the Conference League and the Club World Cup. "These achievements will remain an important part of the club's recent history, and we thank him for his contribution to the club's development," the statement said.
Italian Maresca led Chelsea in 2024. He was twice named Premier League Manager of the Month.
This season, Chelsea has earned 30 points from 19 games. The team is in fifth place in the standings.
