Chelsea's star footballer Enzo Fernandez has faced severe disciplinary action from the club's management and has not been included in the team's application for the next two games.
Idman.Biz reports that this is due to the 25-year-old footballer openly expressing his affection for the city of Madrid in an interview.
Fernandes stated during the interview that he would like to live in Madrid because it reminds him of Buenos Aires:
"I would like to live in Spain. I like Madrid very much, it reminds me of Buenos Aires. A player lives where he wants. I manage somehow in English, but I would feel better in Spanish."
His words were especially perceived as a hint of a transfer to "Real Madrid" and were met with dissatisfaction by both fans and club management. The "Chelsea" management assessed the footballer's move as a lack of loyalty to the club and decided to punish him.
It should be noted that although Fernandez has a contract with the London club until 2031, rumors about his departure from the "aristocrats" have intensified recently.
